Local Reading of the Proclamation

A local reading of the Proclamation of the new Sovereign will be held in Newtown Linford on Sunday, 11th September.

The Proclamation of King Charles III becoming the new monarch will be read by Parish Council Vice-Chairman, Cllr. Tim Porte, at 4.30pm at All Saints' Churchyard on Bradgate Road.

Residents and members of the public are invited to join us for the reading.

A Book of Condolence is available at All Saints' Church on Bradgate Road for anyone wishing to light a candle and write a message of Condolence. The Church will be open every day from 09:00hrs to 17:00hrs during this Period of National Mourning.

Floral tributes can be laid at All Saints' Churchyard on the grass area to the left hand side of the main Church entrance door.
